Does RD160 use different components depending on the country?

In fact, it’s important to note that Hifi Rose also had to make precise integration adjustments when replacing the MUSEO2 OPAMPs with LM4562 OPAMPs.
One might think that replacing the LM4562 OPAMPs with the old MUSEO2 OPAMPs would restore the previous version, but that probably isn’t enough.
There must have been some tuning done around these new components during the replacement.
What do you think?

People are still having trouble figuring out what they are buying now, so I think it’s too early to talk about replacing OPAMPs.

You guys can buy my “Collector’s Edition” from November 2024 for $10K.

Cut the crap. My damn RD160 was made in October 2024 too, so don’t give that bullshit.

@ROSEHAN Any updates? This is critical that this concern for the entire offerings of HifiRose is addressed with full transparency.

I’ve had my RS130 and RD160 since last Thursday after a week of testing products at home on loan from my dealer.

After more than fifty hours of running in my units, I can say that I notice no difference in sound quality between my RD160 manufactured in February 2025 and the loaner RD160 manufactured in July 2024.

Hoping this will reassure a good number of you. :yum:

Dear HiFi Rose users

No other Rose devices have had any component changes except for the RD160.

We apologize for not mentioning the OP module replacement for the RD160.

We have thoroughly verified that the LM4562 is a high-performance OPAMP known for its low noise and excellent linearity, and is a reliable and sonically transparent replacement, regardless of the price.

We will notify you in the future if this happens.
