External SSD to Install in the RS150B

Is it possible to transfer all my music to the SSD (4Tb) and then install it inside of the RS150B? it will work or do I have to format the SSD inside of the RS150B?

For RS150, RS250, RS201 only. You need external hard disk or SSD or USB connected to RS150/RS250/RS201. (If your SSD is NEW, format it first.) Thanks for your prompt reply. What I really want to know is if I can connect the SSD directly to the computer, filled it with my music and then install it inside the RS150B. I will be using NTFS format.

Hello,

ROSE device has format function with it and it formats as NTFS.
You’re free to use NTFS in ROSE and Windows.
You won’t need additional work when you connect your SSD to ROSE or PC.
