I see in the new features that the update provides is a series of subcategories for Classical Music file curation. I hope that that feature will be expanded to all music genres.
However, while I see that the feature has been added, I can’t find it. How does one access the new Classical Music sub-categories?

The new feature is added to Qubuz, Tidal and Apple Music. You will see “Classic” in the menu bar.
It is not for the files you have.

Thank you for pointing out that the Rose Classic menu is not directly accessible or listed anywhere in the Rose but rather it is within three other applications which may or may not have been added depending one one’s Rose Store shopping preferences.
While I have a passable ability to read my comprehension skills must be lacking.

Unfortunately the moderators here tend to respond to questions in inscrutable koans by
defining items with the words in question thus confusing small minds like mine i.e., The Classic Music Feature is easily found in The Classic Music Feature just go to it.

I just read the definition of koans again and you’re right. But it’s not easy to understand two different languages with words that are the same but may have a different meaning in Korea. I read a lot here in the chat and sometimes I think: Man, did the moderator even read the question??? Sometimes (as far as I understand) there are really answers that miss the point.
According to the motto: Missed the point… give 5 (like in school).
They want to expand the Rose Classic menu even further and will definitely incorporate improvements into the new function.

I don’t understand why is the Rose Classic feature triggered from an app (e.g., Qobuz) as oppose to be triggered from Rose’s home page - it’s not a Qobuz feature, it’s a Rose feature.
That being the case, how is all my Classical music files/albums recognized and are my classical files/folders included in the Rose Classic feature.

Great question. I couldn’t even find the feature initially.
I think the answer with respect to listing/searching your classical folders is “you can’t”.

Ouch! HiFi Rose needs to decide: is RS130 a media transport or is it strictly a streaming transport. They can’t have only a few features supporting media playback; that’s too inconsistent and will muddle everyone.
Let’s hope Rose Classic supports classical media/folders and we just don’t yet know how.

Do you get your music from streaming services or local SSD?
Do you tag your music according to the norms of Discogs or MusicBrainz Tagger?
I listen from local SSD, tag all the music according to official tagging norms on a Windows Desktop, copy all that to the internal SSD, scan and and stil have problems finding all the tagged information.
As for now i have reduced my wishes but expect them to be fulfilled by the Rose.
On the Windows Desktop the Application with which i manage my music has a special classic music section.
Currently, the “Rose Classic(al)” feature is triggered within the Qobuz, Tidal,… apps.
Please make the Rose Classic feature a “RoseClassical” function in the RoseConnect app (i.e., RoseClassical to be in the left column (where the RoseRadio function is shown). When the RoseClassical function is triggered, show my classical files/folders’ Albums in a similar way as that shown in Qobuz, Tidal,…
Alternatively & Preferably: support a RoseGenre function (shown in the left column). When triggered, show all my files/folders’ Albums/Songs that are of the user selected genre
…classical should be a group and a genre. This way the music can be grouped together independently of the genre and still be given specific features for classical music within the ROSE firmware/app
