Internal or external SSD drive?

Would either an internal SSD drive installed in my RS150 or an external SSD drive using one of the USB ports sound better or be faster? Or would they be the same?

In theory, there is no significant difference.
You can use the one you want to use.
However, personally, since there are only two USB ports, and I do not want more cables, I think I will use an internal SSD.

I have not even looked into how to put stuff on it and remove stuff from it through the network. Are there instructions on how to set that up?
