Curious to hear what other users are doing. Of course I leave the back panel switched on, but I do toggle the touchscreen power button each time I listen.
Thx.

Off for me. With the cost of energy in the UK so high, every penny counts
I select Standby for my 150B. Interested to know what Rose says to do.
Hello,
There are two ways to turn off the power: standby mode and power-off.
When you turn off RS150 by touching the power button shortly, it goes to Standby Mode.
In standby mode, you can turn it on again quickly. Also, you must use standby mode to turn on the device using the Bluetooth remote control or the RoseConnect APP on your mobile phone.
When you touch the power button for few seconds, the display will show Power-OFF button in red.
In this case, RS150 is totally OFF and you can’t turn it on with BT remote & ROSE APP.
If you completely shut down the power, it will scan the DB again when you turn it back on.
Therefore, it is recommended to use the standby mode if the user does not feel burdened. Even if the standby mode is used, the device is not burdened, so there is no need to worry.
Thanks for the feedback. With the Android OS, this seems to mirror a standard computer. Power off for when not in use for extended periods. Day to day, standby mode.
My original question was about keeping the unit on all the time vs standby.
Thx.
over the weekend, it’s mainly on (because then I have time to use it) - also tried to keep it on for a week or so. But soundwise I could not hear any difference. Not same difference as I have with my Phono Pre - which is always on.
Thx. I’m good with toggling the standby on the 150. I also have class d amps so no need to keep always on.
