250a - No audio through optical when playing video

New customer with day one setup

I have audio streaming from Tidal, Roseradio and CD playback working well with an optical out from the 250a to the digital in of my Dynaudio Xeo 5 box

All working great BUT when I try playing a RoseTube video I get the video but no sound.

Have I missed a setting somewhere? I’m not an audiophile so half the setting make no sense to me.

Please answer a few questions.

  1. You said that there is no problem playing Tidal, Roseradio and CD, but there is no sound only when playing a Rosetube video. Does this mean there is no sound in a specific video? Or is there no sound in all videos?
  2. Are you using an external DAC?
  3. Is there a sound when you play a Tidal video on Tidal?
  4. Are you using your RS250a connected to a TV?

The 250a is connected to my powered Dynaudio speakers via optical, no TV

Problem fixed by changed optical output settings and fixing them to 44khz
