I would like to have a daily running scanning function.
This should run on a programmable time or late night (suggest 3 am).
Currently I’m adding daily new songs to my library and this would give me the newest library setting every morning.
Maybe the scanning could run as a background task the whole day?
Would like to hear other user opinions about this feature.

I too would like to have a scan function active, when copying a new album / song it should be available immediately in the db and not be forced to scan the entire hd.
Other streamers don’t need to rescan the full library. They are able to find updated files only. The scanning is really quick (blousound for example). Why rose scan the entire library every time?
Totally agreed. The scanning process for my 4600 something albums took more than a day.
I have the Aurender as well. When new files are added, the Aurender updates them automatically. It takes a few minutes only.
Even for my whole collection rescan, it needs less than 30 mins.
When I was scanning files into RS150 the first few times, the process seemed take forever. Then the information are not immediately available even after the scanning process was completed. I thought either the RS150 or the software or both were malfunctioning.
Simply speaking, the scanning process needs improvement, a big one.
