A twist on the Ethernet connection and phone app connection question

I have a slightly different situation that is keeping me from using the remote app when connected to Ethernet. My router is on the first floor and my listening room is in the basement. To achieve a wired Ethernet connection I have a powerline adapter connected to the router and the corresponding unit plugged into a basement outlet. An Ethernet cable runs from the outlet adapter to my RS150.
Any way to make this work with my phone app?

RS250 supports tethering (can be found in ethernet setup). If RS150 supports it as well, you can connect your phone this way - it’s a direct WLAN connection to the device.

Thanks! I’ll give that a try. I saw where RS150 supports it as well.

Thanks to @Wideglide !

Connect ethernet cable to RS150B.
And then,

RS150B > Setting > Ethernet > Tethering > ON > Tethering Setup > ‘Show password’ and change password to a easy one.

Thank you.

You can also consider buying a so called WLAN Bridge. Its a device that extend the range for your WLAN and offers 1-3 RJ45 LAN Connectors, and there you can connect your Rose with LAN Cable.
just a recommendation.

Thanks everyone - I now have my phone app working while using an Ethernet connection !
