A250A plays to fast

Hallo,
Unfortunately my Hifi Rose A250A plays everything a fraction too fast. For example a music track of 4.50min played in 4.20 min I have tried everything (filters, samplerates, updates, mqa) it happens with music from my internal drive, via usb, tidal and spotify only with rosetube it works fine. Please help.Many thanks!

Greetz.

@Sax173

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
This is my first time seeing these symptoms.
Please answer a few questions.

  1. Are you saying that in RS250a, all sound sources except Rose Tube are played in fast forward mode?
  2. What is the version information of your RS250a?
    RS250a–>Settings–>System info–>System version info
  3. If you are using an external DAC, please tell us the model name of the DAC.
  4. Please send a video showing the symptom to the email address below.

It seems that somehow files which are in 44.100 sample rate are playing in 48.000 Hz sample rate. On rose tube most of the files are in 48.000 Hz…

Check if you have external clock set on 48 kHz, but Rose somehow does not understand it…

@Burle

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The typical sample rate for other streaming outputs is 44.1 or 48Khz, but in the case of RoseTube, the output is at 96Khz.

For testing, please set as follows.
Please change Rose device–> Input/Output Settings–>Digital Output Settings (gear)–>PCM Resampling Frequency–>Max Sample Rate to 48Khz and then check whether the Rose Tube sound is transmitted.

Hi, I’ve find the solution. It had something to do only with mqa-files. Tidal (the program I use) will stopped with mqa-files. So no problem anymore.
