Access to SSD from my computer

I have a HiFi Rose RS250 streamer and I added an SSD drive connected directly to it. I’m trying to configure the Audirvana application installed on my computer so that it can access my local music stored on the SSD connected to the streamer. Can someone help me?

@Jean-Philippe

If the SSD is connected directly to the RS250, Audirvana on your computer cannot access the music files on that SSD directly, because the RS250 does not provide the SSD as a shared network drive (NAS/SMB server) for external applications.

Instead, you can use one of the following methods:

  1. Use Audirvana to stream to the RS250
    Add your music library to Audirvana from a drive connected to your computer or a NAS, then select the RS250 as the playback device via UPnP.
  2. Play directly from the RS250
    If your music is stored on the SSD inside the RS250, we recommend using the ROSE app for local playback.

If your goal is to let Audirvana read the files directly, the music library needs to be stored on your computer or on a NAS that Audirvana can access over the network.
