Active optische hdmi kabel

kan de rose rs 150b een active optische hdmi kabel sturen ik wil mijn b&o harmony tv verbinden met mijn rose

@brunos

I tried using a translator to answer your question, but I can’t understand it.

Please ask questions in English or to the distributor in the country where you purchased the Rose device.

If I understand what you are asking, I am currently using an active hdmi 65ft. cable from my 2 channel setup to my theater setup and it works fine. Needed the active cable because of the long distance…

@Pappaduke

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. A 65-foot cable is almost 20 meters long.
There is a high possibility that it will not be recognized when a 20m HDMI cable is connected to RS150b and the TV.
When using an HDMI cable, we recommend using a cable shorter than 3 meters.

The cable is working. It’s an active fiber optic hdmi cable that many people use for long hdmi connections. I was suggesting it to @brunos to try for his situation. If it doesn’t work, cables are generally easy to return.

@Pappaduke

What I’m talking about is not a cable problem, but that if the cable length is longer than 3M, it may not be compatible with the Rose device.

Hello @ROSEHAN,

I use a 4.5m long HDMI 8K HDMI from Amazon, which doesn’t cost 100000000000 :moneybag::moneybag::moneybag: and it works fantastically with my RS520 and my LG-OLED 4K TV.

Maybe my experience as an end user (Rose+TV) is important for you.

@Bonte

Thanks for your reply. However, 20M HDMI cables can be problematic.

Unfortunately I can’t afford such a big cathedral for 20m. :wink::blush::wink:

Have a relaxing day

I purchased my 150B strictly for two channel where I have no TV. It performs wonderfully in my setup, but I really felt like I wasn’t getting the most out of this streamer because I wasn’t using Rose tube. Initially I thought I may buy a 250A to put in the theater room. Then I read somewhere about someone using an active fiber optic hdmi cable for a long run. I figured why not give that a try first. Turns out that was the perfect solution for my situation. Much cheaper than buying another streamer.
Happy streaming……:+1:t5:
