My RS150 has always worked flawlessly and I’ve owned well over a year. However, starting with the previous update and continuing with the latest it won’t play more than two songs in a row of an album. Even stranger is that when it supposedly goes to the next track, it displays it correctly on both the device’s screen and my iPad screen and the progress bar moves along normally, but there is no audio. I also get a pop-up message every few minutes saying something about my network not being connected or the device not being registered. My Rose is hardwired to my router and is sitting only about two feet away. I have google fiber gigabit internet speed. Never had this problem before. I also own streamers by NAD (bluesound), Wiim, and Auralic and they work just fine. The Rose sounds great as always, but I can no longer just pick an album and select Play. I have to babysit the Rose and after every track or every other track click on the next track even though it appears to be playing it already!
I have some questions after reading your post.
- Please contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the RS150b, tell them about your symptoms, request a new dongle, and connect the new dongle to use it.
- Does the same symptom occur when you connect your RS150b to Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi?
- Are both your RS150b and RoseConnect app installed with the latest version?
- Does the same symptom occur when you factory reset your RS150b?
