Hallo, ich nutze folgende Komponenten:

  • RS150B (gerade aktualisiert Stand 12.2024)
  • Windows 10 & 11 Tagesaktuell
  • iTunes 12.13.4.4

Seit kurzem funktioniert bei beiden Windows PCs die Koppelung via Airplay von iTunes zum Rose RS150B nicht mehr. Der Rose ist bei iTunes zu sehen, aber wenn man ihn Koppeln will, kommt folgende Nachricht:
“Das Airplay-Gerät ist mit dieser Version von iTunes nicht kompatibel.”

Eine Koppelung vom iPhoneXS Max und iPad funktioniert einwandfrei.

Bitte dringend korrigieren.

Same problem with RS250A on iTunes 12.13.4.4 (Airplay 2) on Windows 11: “The AirPlay device “Rose-05” is not compatible with this version of iTunes.”

Currently, Windows iTunes does not support AirPlay2 Compatibility, so it is not compatible with Rose devices that support AirPlay2 Compatibility.

So we are currently checking whether it is compatible with existing Airplay versions, and if there is a way to make it compatible with existing versions, we plan to support it.

That’s not what Apple says. So I will put it another way: I also have a Cambridge Audio CXN100 Streamer/DAC which plays iTunes 12.13.4.4 perfectly. It is also AirPlay 2 compliant.

Ich kann meinen Rose seit 3 Monaten nicht mehr so nutzen wie ich es gewohnt bin.
Die Version von iTunes ist jetzt: Version 12.13.6.1
Was ist das Problem, im Rose einen Schalter zu programmieren, mit dem ich mir die benötigte AIRPLAY Version aussuchen kann?
Ich bin äußerst verärgert.

If you are using iTunes on a Windows PC, there is currently no way to connect to a Rose device via AirPlay.

We are looking into ways to enable this connection in the future.

As a reminder, this worked as recently as software version 4.x (x=7?).

We are currently working on an update for Airplay 2, and this is happening because the existing Airplay functionality is missing. We are looking into ways to enable this connection in the future.
