Hi, just unpacked my new RS150 silver. Thank you for this wonderful machine:)
It identifies as 150A, max voltage of balanced analog is 9V. So AKM dac is used?
If it is 9v you should think it is akm chip.
Maybe they changed it again in new models.
But don’t think it will make a big difference in sound quality.
Maybe, due the worldwide chip shortage, they use the dac they can get their hands on.

You can make it clear by checking its settings.
RS150(B) > Settings > Model > RS150 or RS150B
Maybe they deliver AKM chip again, I wonder why because I like the ESS 9038PRO in the 150B more
They are close but the 9038PRO DAC sounds smoother to me
But it can be just between my ears also 
I use de Rose DAC section for headphone system. Speakers are active ones with build in AKM dac fed through AES/EBU digital connection…
So having the same brand Dac with simular charactere is nice in my opinion
