I mostly play music from an external HDD. Files are flacs.
Album art appears fine in the currently playing list and on screen of 250A and notepad.
Album art doesn’t always appear in recently played tracks or albums. Not in itself a major issue. However album artwork doesn’t always appear in playlists or playback of playlists. It appears fine when on the add to playlist screen but not in the playlist or during playback of the playlist.
The artwork is there but seems to be getting lost for playlists, recently played tracks or albums.
The big screen was a major plus for the 250A but renders it useless for playlists.
The other strange thing is that this behaviour is not consistent…

We understand that album artwork appears correctly during playback and when adding to playlists, but not consistently in playlists, recently played lists, or during playlist playback.
This is a known issue related to how artwork is cached in some cases, especially with FLAC files from external drives.
Our development team is aware of it and working to improve this behavior in future firmware updates.
