Album pictures not showing up when editing album photo using app

Hi Support,

When I use rose connect app to edit my album stored in SSD and use the photos stored in my mobile phone, it doesn’t show the pictures stored in my mobile phones. All the photos are showing as Rose app icon instead of the original photos.

Pls refer to attached screenshot.

Hello,

  1. Please check if this is where you captured the screenshot.
    iOS phone > Rose APP > MUSIC > FOLDER > Your SSD > music folder > music files

  2. Please check if you scanned your SSD
    You can scan your SSD here.
    ROSE device > Settings > System Settings > Media Library > Your SSD > Scan

I’m using Android phone. Where should I keep my album screenshots location so that Rose app can find them and display properly?

I think you don’t understand my issue here. I’m trying to use the album cover photos stored on my Android phone via Rose connect app where we can modify the album cover.

However, Rose connect app doesn’t show the pictures and it shows icon instead despite I have already granted Rose app to access my phone storage (See screenshot below captured on Rose connect app)

I’m sorry I missed :sob:

Does it happen even when you turn off the APP and turn it on again?
I just tested with my iPhone(iOS 15.2) and I could see the images in my phone.
If it still doesn’t work, would you let me know your iphone model and iOS version?

Hi Support,

Pls noted that I’m using Android phone, not iPhone :flushed:

Brand: Oppo R17 Pro
Android version: 10

I close the Rose connect app and open again but still the same issues. This is frustrating!

Hi Rose Support Team,

I have the same problem. After upgrading the recent firmware a few days ago, my album cover art/ photo won’t show up. Please help fix the issue and keep us posted. Thanks.

Hello,

The issue you mentioned is an issue that only occurs in Android version 10. Since it is an issue related to the fundamental security of Android, it is difficult to access easily. So we’re looking for another way.
