After the latest update the all play function is not working as it should when playing songs from a hard drive. It works fine through Apple and other mediums.
When all play is pressed the tracks don’t play and they just skip through with the message “this song cannot be played. The next song will be played”. Nothing is actually played. However when you click on an individual song it plays perfectly.
Hi Greg121972,
I posted on the all play function a few days ago. Looks like you are seeing the same thing. The Rose team has confirmed an intermittent phenomenon and is working on it. See my post “RS130 System Version 5.9 problem” for details. There is a work around - Access SSD music through the “Album” option vs “Folder”.
Hi Dean,
Yes, thanks for that tip, I will try it later.
When we did “Music - Folder - SSD - Play All”, we also found that the entire playback did not work intermittently. We will fix the issue and release an update as soon as possible.
Thank you, also after further investigation yesterday it also is the case that when you are playing an album and the track changes, sometimes a random album cover appears on the iPad???not related to the album but one that you have played recently!
This only happens on the iPad, the screen on the device and the HDMI output remains the correct artwork!
This appears to be a temporary artwork sync issue specific to the iPad version of the Rose Connect app.
Our development team is currently investigating this behavior to identify the root cause and provide a fix in an upcoming update.
In the meantime, restarting the app may temporarily resolve the issue.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the user experience.
