I know this is being considered. Now would be a good time to implement it since others are already there.

No hope of that happening any time soon!
Bought my 520 a few years ago because they said Amazon music was coming soon, still waiting. This lot need to pop down the road to the Hyundai factory as they are both in South Korea, they don’t seem to have a problem putting Amazon music in their cars.
Its left me feeling mugged.
Steve,
Failure to add Amazon Music is not due to Amazon. Others are able to do it with no problem…HiFi Rose? HiFi Rose?

I never said it was because of Amazon, I dont know how you got that idea.
HiFiRose is the problem and I am not happy.
This was the response I got recently on this topic… Still not holding my breath. Too many broken promises over too many years.
Steve,
I wasn’t saying or even implying that you were attributing the failure to offer Amazon Music in HiFi Rose software was due to Amazon. I specifically said “Failure to add Amazon Music is not due to Amazon” .That’s about as specific as one can be. I was stating the opposite and agreeing with you. I was alluding to the character Ferris Bueller in the movie “Ferris Bueller’s day off”
where a teacher was calling on Ferris Bueller to answer a question but he was absent from class because he was skipping school. In that analogy HiFi Rose is “skipping school” i.e., not getting its job done.

Dear HiFi Rose users
Amazon Music is currently scheduled to be added later this year.
This time, we will deliver good news.
Still waiting and the clock is ticking.
Notice the pattern, apologize, agree to xyz, customer base follows-up, they make excuses, then deny and deflect and hope everyone forgets. I have never seen such a group of staff that falsely provide hope and never ever deliver and when called out they finally say “we don’t have the capability to do so,” after months of waiting. This is a prime example and there are dozens of others. Shameful Hifi Rose,
Rosehan,
Later this year is at a maximum 29 days away. We all await the good news.
I am hoping this won’t be another year with only one update.
That said, I love the HiFi Rose products more each year.

I am already using Apple Music and Qobuz and have no desire to get Spotify or Amazon Music. I hope Rose is able to add Amazon for users who want it, but if they cannot implement gapless playback, they should be upfront and transparent in addressing that with users.
Dear HiFi Rose users
First of all, we would like to sincerely thank everyone for your patience and for sharing your honest opinions.
We understand the frustration and disappointment many of you have expressed regarding the Amazon Music integration and update timeline. We acknowledge that our communication has not always been as clear or consistent as it should have been, and we sincerely apologize for that.
We agree that Amazon Music is an important service, and we would very much like to implement it.
We have continuously been exploring ways to add Amazon Music support, and we are still working toward that goal.
However, although we originally believed we could deliver the feature within the timeframe previously mentioned, the reality has been more complex.
Each music platform provides API access differently, and some do not officially support or open their API at all. This has made the development and approval process more difficult than anticipated.
We apologize once again for not meeting the expected timeline.
Nevertheless, we want to make it clear that Amazon Music remains a priority for us, and we are committed to implementing it in the future.
Thank you again for your patience and continued feedback.
