I have been using an RS250A streamer for about 6 months now. I use my Android phone as a remote controller. I stream from a Tidal account, which I did not realize/understand there difference in Tidal vs Tidal Connect when I recently made the plunge into streaming. When I first started using the Rose App, I found it to be illogical, cumbersome, and clunky. But recently (the past several weeks - update?) it has become unusable. I can, maybe, get to navigate to an album and hit play. But after that it typically freezes up, shuts down or some other issue. So I have stopped listening. So now, after spending a great deal of money on a streamer/DAC, I guess I’ll have to try adding the new RW800 to use my expensive gear as an end point from Tidal. It is my opinion that HiFi Rose should provide this RW800 to users that were duped into spending all this money on a product that does not even come close to working as advertised.
They did never advertise it would support Tidal connect as far as I know.
But nevertheless, one would expect it does 
Yes - you’re right. I was unfamiliar with the terminology and what the difference implied. However, HiFi Rose sales and marketing only said that it was compatible with Tidal (some gear is not). But that is not my main complaint. I could just stick with the Rose app, but it doesn’t work.

- Rose device version information
- Version information of the Android App you are using
- If it does not play on the Rose App, please check if it plays normally when selecting and playing the audio track directly on the RS250A streamer.
- Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible, and we will test it accordingly and send you the results via email.
