App 5.7.68 : Volume control old problems are back!

Its unbelievable. The app update screwed up the volume control again. The old volume control problem : the app does not get the correct volume settings from the unit (RS520) when starting up. Is your version control really that bad ? Old programming errors compiled in a new version again ? Amateurism at its top.
So, I start the app. Unit has setting 25, app comes up with its own latest setting (50 from TV IR input), I want to go to a lower volume via app meaning it starts at 50 - blowing away my loudspeakers when on spotify. Come on Rose. How can an old error return again ? Dont you test your software and compiling proces at all ? Speechless am I

I have a few things to check.

  1. Is the volume of your RS520 set to 25 and the volume increases to 50 when you connect the RS520 to Spotify?

  2. Is the volume of your RS520 set to 25 when connected to the TV and increases to 50 when connected to the TV?

I would appreciate it if you could explain in more detail.

Its a combination
Day 1 : Watch TV, setting 50. Switch off unit with remote
Day 2 : Switch on unit with remote, set volume on 25 with remote. Start to play spotify from mobile. Then want to decrease volume via mobile to 20. Open rose app, volume in app is 50. Decreasing volume via app now starts from 50 (to 20)

We have confirmed similar symptoms.

Are you using Android RoseConnect app?

We will fix this issue as soon as possible and distribute it in the next update.

I am using the iPhone app.
