In the latest app-version the music folder ends after about 70% of the music. The music exists on the harddisk, but I can’t play everything after “patrick”. The DB-list on the pc is correct.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
I didn’t understand your symptoms exactly. Please answer a few questions.
- What device do you use when using the RoseConnect app? Do you use iOS, Android or PC?
- What is the model name of the Rose device you use?
- Do you mean that only 70% of the music in the storage device is displayed in the RoseConnect app–>Music–>Storage–>Folder?
So, does the Rose device display 100% of the sound source? - You said nothing can be played after “patrick”. What does “patrick” mean?
- Does the same symptom appear if you Rescan your storage device in Rose device–>Music–>Settings–>Media Library?
Thank you
Hello,
-
I use IOS with the iPad or iPhone.
-
Rose 520.
-
The path is Music - Map - Rosedisk
On the Rose display I can find all of My music. -
In the app I can choose all the artists from A till Pa(trick). I’ve tried to import a CD from an artist with a R, but is does not appear in the app.
I think this problem is existing since the last sw-release, but I’m not quiet sure about that. -
I have done the rescan, but there is no difference.
Greetings,
Klaas van de Kemp

Hello,
I don’t know how you’ve organized your collection, but maybe this will help:
I also had a similar problem. For me it saw everything up to Jan Garbarek.
I noticed that the system sees a maximum of 500 folders per folder.
So I reclassified my library with folders #, A, B, C, E, F…
then dragged each artist or group into their respective folder.
After that, a quick scan and everything’s back in order: it sees all my artists and records!
Perhaps it’s worth a try?
Best regards
Thank you, but I really don’t know if that is the problem. It always has worked fine with my 1200artists and about 2500 CD’s.
And I have no idea how to organize the SMB in a different way.
@ROSEHAN Hi, there is a limitation of (visual) reading of the albums on the folder folder only if it is viewed via the App (Win and Android). In reality, the missing albums are visible both from the device and from the PC connection normally used to add or delete albums/songs. Please check the Apps. I hope this isn’t an insurmountable problem… is there a limitation on the number of albums? Thank you
Hello,
I already discovered that this problem only exists in the app, but I don’t understand why this is changed. This means that almost half of my music can not be played with the app. Searching on the device is not the fine way to play music. Please delete this change for me. Greetings, Klaas.
This is an app problem. I found this problem out the other day while using my new Samsung S9 tablet. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. Never had any issues for the past two years until now.
With almost 5000 CD’s ripped and hundreds of Hi-rez music stored on a 2TB drive, when using the tablet to access those artist it would only page down and stop at the “P” section. Wouldn’t show anything from letters Q-Z. However when you went to the Rose 150B front screen, all the music & artist showed up.
By accident I ended up turning the table to a landscape orientation and then all of the folders from Q-Z did show up.
It needs fixed on the new software update.
Hi,
I’ve done what you advised. And after a few hours of dragging the problem was solved. But who made the change in the app without any communication?
Bad bad work!!!
I’m having this exact same issue on my HiFi Rose RS150B ever since I upgraded the app on my iPad. The music stored on the internal hard drive can all be accessed by going to the physical RS150B but when I try on the app I can only access up to the T’s. All my music that starts with letters after T is now missing but only on the app. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, rescanning the hard drive, deleting the music database and rescanning and nothing has worked. I can still only see my music up to the T’s while using the app. Any ideas how to fix this or if HiFi Rose will be correcting this known issue through a future app update?
Same here! Following for solutions.
Dear Hi-Fi rose users
This issue was previously fixed, but it seems that the symptom has recurred after the update.
We will fix this issue as soon as possible.
Thank you
Just to say i have this issue as well. Also the library file in Rose Connect is now permanently disconnected, despite turning on the SMB settings. I’m using a PC with windows 11 to connect to my Rose 150B.
