How to set rs201 as DAC to get apple lossless music?
can type C cable connect between rs201 and M1macbook will work?
or I need to get another DAC to connect MacBook?
Since RS250 and RS150 have USB Audio input, you can play by plugging a converter called “Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter” into your iPhone/iPad and connecting a USB A-B cable to RS250, RS150 USB Audio IN.
I tried it yesterday too, and it plays up to high resolution lossless.
201A has only OPT digital input. It seems to be possible to use the USB port of the MacBook and connect it through a separate ‘USB to Converter’.

Wondering if I get a external DAC that support 24-bit /192 khz and connect to RS201 OPT IN will work? Do RS 201 will out put the same 24-bit/192 khz? Mac to External DAC to RS201. The RS201 PMC Resampling Frequency set as original will that come out what External DAC get?

I’m not sure how you will organize your audio system,
Optical IN of RS201 : It can receive up to 24bit 192Khz
Optical Out of RS201 : It can output up to 24bit 96Khz
Also, RS201 cannot output digital signals input through USB to Optical Out.
