Hifi Rose really needs to think about how they are handling their online presence and customer support. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to summarize all the issues and post on well known audio websites with my evidence sharing our truthful accounts and opinions . This will undoubtedly affect their brand perception, but it has unfortunately come to that. Principle is more important than material goods.

If we got a working software we will probably less complaining.

On this list, show the ticket#, originator’s member id, date opened, type of problem (e.g., interconnect, UIF, RadioFM,…), ticket title & status (open, in progress, closed, cancelled)

In 2023 & early 2024, the Scan/Rescan functions were the loudest outcry by the community members. Currently in 2025, the loudest outcry is the above #1 critical issue and the poorly designed unintuitive user interface software. In 2024, HiFi Rose redesigned & redeveloped the scan/rescan functions ← this solved the 2023 outcry. @ROSEHAN, @ROSELOA,… please speak to HiFi Rose high-level development management ← let them know about the UIF software design outcry (it’s time that the HiFi Rose UIF be redesigned/redevolped from scratch for simpler, consistent, intuitive user interactions. Also for this redesign, consider changing the Operating System to a Linux & Android V14 combination ← this will improve development efforts. The new media server User Interface to be metadata tag centric, and support all music media types/tags including Album Artists, Playlists, Genres, etc plus support bitstreamining multi-channel & spatial audio on HDMI. Lastly, support DLNA/UPDP Samba NAS access.

I found now Hifi Rose is censoring and moderating post if it speak badly about them. I guess their sales are affected by all the bad online press.
I guess we should all write tough, critical posts about Hifi Rose management until they appoint a decent moderator on the forum , someone we can trust like Tom.
I agree with most of this in principle but many of the features that brought us to the products are the very features they are killing or don’t work. From a hardware perspective the products are a solid 10/10. Features like RoseFM and Podcast are being discontinued with no replacement. RoseRadio has potential but not well maintained. I won’t turn this into an issues list but the biggest challenge is it seems the support team and dev team are the same group. Also having a closed off system means every product requires custom development work.
I realized the only way the issue with the forums will change is legal action. If Hifi Rose does not appoint a moderator we can all trust , who immediately bans trolls and offensive posts, I will be filing a formal complaint with the United States Federal Trade Commission for dangerous and harassing online environment against CITECH. I encourage all of you to do the same in whatever country or jurisdiction you reside.
I recommend, before you take legal action, give the Community Forum a few more months. It’s been a whiile now that the trolls & bullies have been silent. Maybe its because the moderators have quietly taken action.
Okay I will keep monitoring the forum. If I see any personal insult of racial, sexual , religious, or other protected category under US legal system, I won’t tolerate it anymore and I will report it with a strong demand to investigate and take action from legal authorities. This is the last warning for Hifi Rose and Citech for turning a blind eye to the bigotry and harassment .
And we can and will aid flagging such nasty posts.

Sexual, religious, or racial harassment that is condoned by a company is a clear violation of most states law in the Unites States and EU regulations. If Hifi Rose and Citech aren’t willing to follow US law , then they shouldn’t be able to do business here. All corporations that enjoy the American market are subject to our business and consumer protection laws . What Hifi Rose has permitted here on this forum is a problem and they should address it immediately. What’s so hard to believe about that.
Anyway im over it. Im not participating anymore until they solve this problem. And I’ll handle it through legal channels directly with their distributor.
When you start threatening to go to other audiophile sites and/or legal action (!) on their website (hosted and paid for by them) what do you think they are going to do to posts? The minute you say “legal action”, they should shut you down as a matter of doing proper business.
So your argument is that since I call out Hifi Roses deliberate and willful failure to stop harassment and discrimination after many users complaints , i should be the one to be banned for trying to protect users, but the people who engage in those illegal acts should stay and continue their harassing conduct ?
Hifi Rose should allow discriminatory and harassing conduct based on religion and sex to continue to go on ? Thats your argument ? Good luck with that. They will lose that battle in court every time.
I haven’t seen any discrimination on here. Maybe I missed it. Lots of someone calling people idiots. But that isn’t illegal. And my main point is if you want a company to shut up and not interact any longer, mention legal action and their only correct response is to say we can only talk to your lawyer now that you brought up legal action.
Please everyone, you all need to calm down and focus on this community’s HiFi Rose products. There’s a lot of great things about these products or tips & tricks you each can share. Even recommend UIF improvements would be beneficial. (Thanks, in advance.)
