Auto standby with Roon

Since the current firmware (5.9.07) I’ve a problem in using the Roon auto standby.
Standby settings in the RS150 are disabled and also the “always on display”.
Standby settings in Roon are set to 5 minutes and after this time (after stopping playing music) the RS150 goes into standby.
But if I start later again playing music with Roon, it starts playing, but display doesn’t wake up (black). Also trying to enable LCD with the remote doesn’t works (becomes more grey than black, but no icons).
Only restarting the system helps for getting back a functionally display.

Additional: Some minutes after Roon sets the standby, I hear again a relais action from the RS150 → seems to be another standby state, but again: For the RS150 I’ve disabled all standby settings and with older firmware versions I don’t had this problem.

And: After Roon sets the RS150 into standby, I can start music playing with Roon and Qobuz connect with the display off.
But if I try connect the device with the app, the app told me, that the device is in standby modus. Try to wake up the RS150 with the app fails. Also the remote isn’t able to wake up it. Only restarting helps…

Again an add: I’m using an external USB Dac and had to set “USB on” while standby.

At the moment, we are not able to reproduce the reported issue on our side.
In order to check the frequency of this symptom, could you please put your Rose device into standby mode and then resume playback to see if the same issue occurs again within 5 minutes?

It is also possible that there are differences between your settings and ours, which might be why we cannot reproduce the issue here. Therefore, we kindly ask you to check whether the same symptom still appears after performing a factory reset on your Rose device.
You can do this by going to: Rose device → Settings → System settings → Factory reset.

I’ve decided to reset my device and now it seems to work, but I must test more for validation.
With another RS250 I don’t had this problems after the firmware upgrade.

I can confirm this problem – same thing here with my RS150B.

When I wake it up from standby and start playback via Roon, there’s no sound, even though Roon shows the track progressing. The only way to fix it is to restart the ROSE, then I get a pop-up saying the system needs to reboot. After that everything works fine… until the next time it goes into standby.

Alright then… I’ll try a factory reset. Guess I’ll have to make peace with it…

If you experience any additional symptoms, please let me know. We’ll check again.

On my RS150 the reset had solved the problem.
But (I’ve additional two RS250) with one RS250 also the reset don’t helped.
Here I’m using the analogue output and Roon told me “no audio device”. Only solution is to reboot the RS250.

A factory reset solved everything for me too. As always…

With my second RS250 I’ve tried all, but now I’ve gone with this back to 5.8.03 and there are no problems with standby.
My feeling is, that the problems in the current 5.9 are coming from HDMI or USB audio…

Also my RS150 had now again the problem after waking up from standby.
Display off, but music is playing while using an external DAC.
