B&o harmony verbinden met rose rs151

I want my B&O Harmony to play along with my Rose RS151. I have connected it to the line-in, but after a few mins I get a slight hum in my Daniel Herz Kiara speakers. Because I have to turn the volume up way too high to hear the sound through the speakers, can I change the line-in?

@brunos

We are sorry to hear about the issue.

To help us better understand the problem, could you please answer the following questions?

  1. What is the current software version of your RS151?
    (Settings → System Info → System Version Info)
  2. Does the humming noise occur only when the B&O Harmony is connected to the Line-In, or does it also occur with other external devices connected to the Line-In?
  3. Could you let us know what the output volume level is on your B&O Harmony?

de software rs 151. 5,11,03 The buzzing sound is only on the line input of the Audio Rose. I have to turn the volume of the Daniel Hertz up extremely high to get the sound through the speakers, and after a few minutes this buzzing sound disappears. The output volume of the B&O is 42.

@brunos

First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Based on your description, we understand that a buzzing noise occurs only when using the Line Input on the RS151, the input level is very low requiring you to turn the volume on your Daniel Hertz amplifier up significantly, and the buzzing noise disappears after a few minutes.

To help us investigate this issue, could you please provide the following information?

  • Your Rose ID (Settings → System Info)
  • The exact B&O model
  • The exact Daniel Hertz amplifier model
  • The type of Line Input connection (RCA, XLR, etc.)
  • Whether the same issue occurs when using a different source device connected to the Line Input

Once we receive this information, we will investigate the issue and get back to you with our findings.

We sincerely apologize once again for the inconvenience and will do our best to provide a more stable and reliable user experience.

@brunos

Hello,

Thank you for providing the detailed information and photos.

Based on the information you provided, we understand that you are connecting the Power Link output of your B&O Beovision Harmony to the Line Input of the RS151.

To help us determine the cause of the issue, could you please perform one additional test?

Please connect a different source device with a standard line-level output, such as a CD player, DAC, or smartphone, to the same Line Input on the RS151 instead of the B&O Beovision Harmony.

Please check whether the same symptoms occur with the other source device, particularly whether the input volume is extremely low or the humming/buzzing noise is still present.

If the same issue occurs with another source device, we will further investigate the Line Input of the RS151. If the other source works normally, the issue may be related to the output characteristics or level of the B&O Power Link connection when used with the RS151 Line Input.

Please let us know the result of this test, and we will continue our investigation accordingly.

Thank you.
