Blue Tooth functionality of the 150B

I am unclear about Blue Tooth functionality on my 150B.

IS BT only for the remote or can one use the 150 as a BT “receiver” such that when turned on it should be recognized by a Windows PC which has BT on and then sound can be transmitted from the PC to the 150?

As it stands the PC does not recognize the 150 in its list of BT devices nor does the 150 “see” the PC.

Thanks,

BT on RS150b can be connected to BT not only with the remote control but also with PC or mobile devices.

When you enter Bluetooth on RS150b, there is a Bluetooth search button to the left of the ON/OFF button.
If you press that button and at the same time press Search for peripherals on PC, your RS150b will be searched on PC.

It sees it but tried to connect from BT on Win PC and it circles forever. It never connects, Something is being blocked.

Then it just disappears.

I would like to ask you to confirm a few things.

  1. Are you able to connect RS150b and your mobile phone normally via BT?
Or is it only your PC that is not connected?
  2. When you go into Bluetooth on RS150b and press the search button, do nearby Bluetooth devices search?

I also tried it using my i-pad.

The two devices see one another but will not pair when I try. Both devices show a text error indicating that the pairing failed.

So its not just my PC. The PC pairs successfully with another BT speaker without issue.

The dongle should not be at fault since the two devices see each other but something blocks the ‘pairing’.

Strange.
