Bluetooth only with analogue out?

Tried today using Bluetooth with the RS250.
Normally I’m using with the RS250 an external USB-DAC.
Starting in such a configuration, it plays, but no sound comes out (also in using the headphone out).
Changing the output to analogue out brings the sound back.
This is for me a bug.

In general: It seems, that not possible to use an external digital source (usb or spdif in) with a digital output.

  1. If you play the radio or other music streaming app without connecting Bluetooth, does the USB DAC produce sound?
  2. Please tell mr the model name of the USB DAC you are using
  3. If the USB DAC supports OPT/COAX, does OPT/COAX sound come out?’

  1. yes, other sources like radio, local files, Roon, Qobuz, Rosetube,… are working without problems.
  2. it’s an ifi xDSD Gryphon
  3. yes, there it’s also a SPDIF input (toslink), but at the moment I’m not at home and it needs a special cable.
