I was disappointed to realize that my new RS150B only receives bluetooth, but cannot transmit (at this point). My last streamer did that out of the box and I got used to streaming to my Ananada BT headphones, ditching headphone amp, cable, and dac. For the time being, I solved the problem by hooking up a FiiO BTA30 PRO via USB to the Rose, allowing me to stream music from the RS150 at the highest LDAC quality to my headphones. Even in ‘transmit’ mode on the FIIO, the Rose recognized the unit immediately. I am hoping that Hifi Rose will update the firmware at some point and enable transmitting via the included dongle.
I connected my 1Mii 03 pro with optical cable to the opticalout port of the rs150 and sent the music to my wirless earbuds Jabra elite 7 pro. The jabra have volume control on them but using them with the rs150b the volume control doesn’t work and the stop/start button either.
The 1Mii is a BT transmitter/receiver
