Brand new RS150B won't boot

Purchased and received new Rose150B. Plugged into power and boot. Successfully get the Rose (powered by Android) screen, and then the Rose logo. After 10s, the screen goes black and I can here a click like a relay/switch in the power supply triggering.

Tried several times with different outlets and nothing else plugged in. No luck. Please help.

Send it back and request new one.

I agree with Michal send it back and get one.

Hi Folks - the issue resolved itself after keeping the device powered (attached to AC power cable only) for ~1-2 hr. I thought I’d give it one more try, touched the top of the device (in hope?) and it booted past the logo screen. Not a great customer experience for a 5000USD device (especially if I’d shipped it back which is what i was close to doing).

Maybe there was moisture inside due to high temperature difference. Once it dried out sensor allow the unit to boot.

I’m happy you got it up and running mate it’s a awesome bit of kit but not a good 1st experience.

Cool mate enjoy it I love the VU Meters on it as I’m old school the sound is very clean too.

Vu meter it`s cool from close, i have mine at 4 meter and i see nothing, just 2 colored reclangles.
It will be nice to have a vu meter which can be seen from a distance.

iam amazed that a gimmick like a pretend vu meter is a major discussion point, its naff .when there are lots of real issues with the unit
