hi There - lots of topics and requests for a spotify built in app. Seems like a market leader when it comes not only to music but also to sharing and collab via socials. Lots of possibilities for Rose HIFI. I know the quality might not be to the level where you want it, bit most users do not 'always" need the hifi quality. Can you reconsider this? Possible to have a roadmap with this in it?
Jeroen1,
I agree. Resolution isn’t always the determining factor. The RoseTube app plays lots of low resolution videos from YouTube which I enjoy very much. They were made back in the “stone age” when I was a pup and all that was available was low resolution.
Low resolution or not, I still enjoy the memories they convey.
StandardModel
All in-apps must receive a Software API (Application Programming Interface) from the streaming service provider to be added to the Hi-Fi Rose system.
Currently, Spotify does not provide such an API, so we cannot do it even if we want to. Please understand that most apps that cannot be in-appized are due to this reason.
If such an API is provided in the future, we will review in-appization by setting internal development priorities.
Thank you.
Please re-check whether Spotify is now offering an API. Thanks.
We checked with Spotify, but it seems difficult to access the Spotify app, and the current situation seems to be the best.
