Bypass funccionality

Hello;
I consider to buy RS 250. Would you be so kind as to tell me if “bypass” functionality is available for this model.

What I mean - if I send a signal to “Coaxial In”, will this signal be internally sent without any DSP to “Coaxial Out”?

And samely with USB: “USB Audio In” to “USB AUDIO OUT”

For example - I want to connect my CD transport to RS 250 “Coaxial In” and my externall DAC to “Coaxial Out”. Will it work? Because in the case of, for example, ARCAM CDS50 it does not work…

But please - do not ask me why do I want to do it this way :slight_smile:

Hello @Mice

Let me answer to your questions.

  1. Q: Does Bypass functionality available for RS250?
    A: 1. Change OUTPUT to HDMI in the input/output settings of RS150.
    2. Turn on the HDMI Passthrough setting in the detailed HDMI settings (gear) of the input/output settings.
    If you set as above, audio is bypassed to HDMI.

  2. Q: If I send a signal to “Coaxial In”, will this signal be internally sent without any DSP to “Coaxial Out”?
    A: Yes it is same with “USB Audio In” to “USB AUDIO OUT”

  3. Q: I want to connect my CD transport to RS 250 “Coaxial In” and my externall DAC to “Coaxial Out”. Will it work?
    A: Yes it will probably work.

Thank you

Thanks for answer.
