Can RS201E fake out a Vandersteen 2Wq subwoofer with DSP?

I think it would be cool to have an RS201E, and I’d like to buy a used Vandersteen 2Wq subwoofer to go with it. But 2Wq requires a high-pass filter (called an X-2 crossover) after preamp and before amplifier. With an integrated amp this sounds impossible. But, if I have it correct, all the X-2 is doing is tapering off low frequencies at 6dB per octave (and then 2Wq sub samples the speaker wire [at high impedance, so it doesn’t affect the main speakers], and the 2Wq subwoofer restores and amplifies the low frequencies because it knows about the 6dB/octave roll off). Can you tell the DSP / equalization of RS201E to roll off low frequencies at 6dB/octave? And by doing this, could you fake out the Vandersteen subwoofer?
