I have tried using the app and directly on the player.

Did you install the app and scan the QR code on the 130?
The 130 and your phone or tablet need to be on the same network and able to communicate with each other.

The RS130 is definitely on the same network. I can see the unit on my device, I have minimal control, I can play radio and start and stop the CD (via the HiFirose CD-rom, which plays but not rips and randomly disconnects).
I have received an email to say I have registered but I still get a sign in prompt, when I do try to sign in it says the details are incorrect.
We have tried multiple times, checking and double checking the details.
As some suggested, I should take details of the MAC address of the RS130, but I can’t as the unit won’t let me see it unless I sign in.
Going round in circles is very frustrating.
Ps I also get a message on the RS130 whenever I change input (coax) from Optical USB SFP saying the RS130 doesn’t recognise I have an RD160 connected. The only option I have is : Retry (does nothing) or to choose- no device (words to that effect), which turns off the usb, which I then have to go into In and out setting and turn it back on.
