Can’t turn back on display

I need some help here. I had read that you can turn off the LCD on the RS130 by holding how the power button for a few seconds. I did that and got a screen where I can turn off the LCD. Now in the morning, I can’t turn it on. A long press makes a click sound but no screen and Roon does not “see” the unit. Help?

@ROSEHAN right now it seems that it is bricked. Can’t find it on the app or my network. Makes the relay sound when trying to power on or off (I don’t know which since the display is off). Terrible if I have a whole weekend without music.

I had the same problem…
A card inside the RS130 is defective.
You have to send it to your dealer for repair, for my part, the repair only lasted 2 weeks and again the same problem.
Finally my RS130 was changed for a new device. For a year, no more worries :crossed_fingers:.
Good luck with your repair and better an exchange if the device is recent.

Man, that should never happen on a $5000+ high end audio device. I will push for a replacement from the start.
I appreciate the response. I can stop trying to turn it off and on.

I had the same issue, it was replaced in a few weeks by my dealer and in the meantime I got a loaner and demoed several other high end DACs. YDMV - Your dealer might vary. Arizona-HiFi is the best for anyone in AZ.

Seems like the LCD should be replaced.
Please contact your distributor to get LCD replaced.
Please contact a distributor in the country where you purchased the RS130 for repair.

Thanks. I am working with the distributor. It would seem to be more than the LCD since both the Rose app and Roon (and my network) all lost contact with the unit.
