Can someone shed some light please?
When I add radio stations http:// etc it says invalid data can someone please help me?

You are supposed to enter the radio streaming URL, not the home page URL.
It is not easy to find.
I will give you the radio URL address from the site you’ve told me.

Please try
Rose device–>Radio app–>+ button–>Enter the radio channel name in CH name and the URL.

  2. fmstream
    If the streaming URL is not there we have no other way to search.

Hello:

I was on the phone yesterday with a dealer. This dealer had spoken to their HIFI Rose rep.
The outcome of the conversation was there are occasions where one can add a station and other times one cannot. From my take on adding a station it can be dicey at best.

This is why I’m refraining from purchasing the new 151 streamer.

On Rose devices, if the radio channel has a streaming URL, you can play it by entering the streaming URL in the RoseRadio app.

Why is the method you advocate for adding a radio dangerous?

Hello:

While not dangerous so to speak. Spending $5K USD and not having it work to my expectation could be a dicey move.

From message boards and retail seller they all have spoken to the inconsistency of the radio app storing non preloaded stations on the HIFI Rose 150 streamer. And, they indicate that this isn’t what it was made for. The streamer was meant for HIGHER resolution use with Tidal, Qobuz and Apple Music.

I’m still open to a purchase if as you have indicated the 150/151 can do as you say.

Currently, the technology you mentioned is difficult to implement right away.

We also talked to a company that would support radio channels around the world, but it didn’t work out.
