I have 2 NAS boxes with music on my same network as ROSE RS-250. I am using MAC OSX network. I am entering the correct SMB:// information as well as correct user and password. Every time, I receive an error that is it is the wrong information. I first tried with a Synology box, and when that did not work, I connected a MAXTOR Central AXIS NAS. I entered the correct log-in information and still received the same error that my login was wrong.

Are the NAS systems stll smb v1 ready? Maybe the old smb v1 is disabled by defaut
The rose devices are only smb v1 ready at this time
I have the same issue with a Mac Studio and connecting my music library directory to the Rose 250a.
First I enabled file sharing on the Mac for the Administrator (me) then I put in smb://192.168.1.50 (this is the fixed address I use for the Mac Studio) then I put in my Mac username and password in the dialog box on the Rose Network Folder (Music).
There is no error message but there is also no connection??
I’ve now fixed this. My error… for the benefit of others, the correct smb is smb://192.168.1.50/share
To Rose’s credit the correct information was shown.
