Cannot register/connect RS130 with iPhone

Both my Android tablet and my iPhone are on the same network. My Android tablet connects just fine to my RS130, but not my iPhone.

I’ve confirmed that all 3 devices are on the same network.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Rose Premium app.

I am using the latest version (not early access) of both the app and OS on the RS130.

I’ve also rebooted the RS130.

When searching by IP, the app can’t find the Rs130 in the registration screen on my iPhone.

  1. Are your Rose device and iPhone connected to the same network?
    Rose device—>Settings—>System Info—> IP address shown in IP Address and Wi-Fi IP connected to your phone Up to two points must be same.
    Example) Correct
    RS130 IP Address: 192.168.4.44
    iPhone IP Address: 192.168.4.33

Example) Wrong
RS130 IP Address: 192.168.4.44
iPhone IP Address: 192.168.6.33

Yes. As I stated in my question, the rs130, my Android tablet and my iPhone are all connected to the same network. I’ll have to double check the IP addresses.

I’ve even tried using the 2G network name on my phone and I still can’t get my iPhone to find the rs130.

Furthermore, my iPhone was able to connect to the rs130 before.

I also confirmed that the rs130 has access to my WiFi, as I’m able control it using my tablet.

I double checked the IPs, and they are both identical except for the last digit, of course.

@Sumi

Here are a few things to check:

  1. Are the RoseConnect app installed on your RS130 and iPhone the same version?
    If your RS130 is version 5.9 (Official), you should use the RoseConnectPremium app.
    If your RS130 is version 5.8 (Early Access), you should use the RoseConnectEA app.

  2. If you have another iOS device besides your iPhone, will your RS130 not be detected even if you install the RoseConnect app?

I don’t understand how or why this happened, but when my rs130 showed that it’s connected to my 5G WiFi, as was my phone, I couldn’t get the app to work. However, I just switched my iPhone to the 2G WiF, kept the rs130 on the 5G WiFi and the app can now see and register the rs130. It’s working properly now.

I was under the impression that they both had to be using either the 5G or 2G at the same time.

The IP addresses are the same, except for the last two numbers, just like before.

@Sumi

5G and 2G networks are completely different.
It doesn’t make sense that RS130 and iPhone are connected to 5G and 2G Wi-Fi respectively, and they are compatible.

First of all, since it is currently compatible, there may be a problem with your network status. If the connection is disconnected or incompatible again, please let me know.
