Cannot register in the connect app

Hello everyone,

I would like to log in via the app to have access to RoseTube etc. When I enter the nickname, I am always shown that the name already exists, regardless of which name I choose.

Does anyone have any tips for me? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any advice - as of today I am the proud owner of a Rose 130 and 160.

Cheers,
Frank

Just received my RS130 yesterday day same issue, very annoying… to say the least. Given the premium price of the transport one really expect seamless UI and experience. Its a bug in the ios app, i tested on my android and registration went thru without a hiccup.

Overall i think the UI of the RS130 is overhyped… given I replaced a Eversolo DMP-A6 the RS130 should be on a totally different level UI wise, its not.

Imagine my surprise when i attached the RSA780, and experience the lag of a 5k USD transport, pretty mediocre and pretty much regret getting the RSA780…

Remote is also not as snappy and responsive as I expect from a unit in this price range.

Luckily the sound quality is there, or i would have returned this in a heartbeat.

To me the cd performance is unacceptable at this price point, as well as having registration bugs in the app, which is vital to get the full functionality of the unit.

@ROSEHAN : Thanks for your reply. There is definitely a bug in the iOS and iPadOS version of the app. I finally solved the problem by registering on the device itself using the touchscreen. After the whole thing worked here without any problems, this is definitely a bug in the app on Apple devices. This only affects registration. I can now log in on both the iPhone and the iPad without getting any error messages.

Edit: this does not depend on the email address either - I had tested this with 4 different addresses independently of each other, each with the corresponding error message as a result.
