Cannot use Rose Connect Premium

I just got the Rose 150B last week. I initially set it to wi-fi using my eero 6pro mesh system, then I downloaded the app from Google Play. Then this error message:
It says Versions of Rose and Connect are not the same-Please use them after the update.
There is no update. I also installed rose connect premium on my android phone and got the same error.

Also, I switched to ethernet and tried to install the app and got the same error messages. I’m thinking factory reset-set as ethernet-tethering and set my android phone and tablet to wifi hotspot to see if maybe that will work.

Are you running the latest version of the Rose software on your RS150?

Normally the device should update it automaticly during configuration process.

you should also make sure that the rs150 is connected to your wlan correctly to be able to find the device via rose connect app.

I get the message Rose Server connection failed.
in (Setting → System Info → System Version Information → is 4.1 and shows it is the latest version.

Currently, your version is out of date. Currently the latest version is 4.2.21.

The phrase “Rose Server connection failed” means that the current Wi-Fi is not connected.
Rose device—>Settings—>System Settings—>Factory Reset, connect Wi-Fi, and check again.

Yes I have done many factory resets, connect via wi-fi (or ethernet) and cannot connect to the Rose server for updates. It’s stuck and won’t connect. I put in my wifi password and it locates and lists wifi devices but will not connect to the server.

Thanks for sending my the USB file-I installed it and have the latest version. Yet I am still having issues. I cannot connect to the Rose Store for example, and still get the error message Rose Server Connection failed anytime I try to do anything. I can, however, play radio files from the app. I tried creating a mobile hotspot on my Verizon tablet and that too failed to resolve the server connection failed problem. I switch from ethernet, to wi-fi, and also the hotspot and all get the same error message. For some reason it is not connecting properly.

  1. Does the Radio/Rosetube list comes out well? but can not play?

  2. You said that Radio can be played, Is it the Radio channel you added with the URL?

  3. Please tell me your RoseID
    Rose device–>Settings–>System Info–> Rose ID

  4. Did you continue to fail with the server after the purchase? or did it work normally at first.

SOLVED–I got my unit working properly by removing the eero pro6 mesh system and replacing the router with my old Netgear Nighthawk router via ethernet cable. I powered on the 150B and it instantly began to update. Now the unit is working fine so thanks for helping me figure this out.
