Can't add albums to playlist in Tidal

I have tried to make an album a playlist in Tidal. Rarely, it will work but most of the time it just says that it failed to create the playlist. Is this just a bug/feature of Tidal or am I doing something wrong?
Also, when I get the “failed to create” playlist message it is created anyway, it just has no music tracks in the Playlist. This shouldn’t happen. If a playlist can’t be created with content then it shouldn’t be created at all i.e., don’t just create an empty playlist. Also, there appears no way to delete a playlist, empty or otherwise. There should be an ability to have “delete playlist” as a three dot right click option.

I have the same issue. I’m using the RS151.
It’s also strange that when created a playlist in the Tidal app with more then 50 tracks it’ll display only 50 tracks in the Rose app. I’m using the app for PC/Windows.

@StandardModel

I added the Tidal album to the playlist in the RoseConnect app using the same method as you, and it was added without any problems.

Please explain in detail how the error occurs when adding albums in order.
I would appreciate it if you could explain it with photos.

Rosehan,

I apologize for raising this issue. I tried to replicate the issue I experienced and this time the app worked as expected and I was able to add a playlist.
As a second issue, I don’t know how to delete a playlist. Can you please tell me how to delete a playlist.

Also, for future updates, please give a user the ability to 1) search playlists, 2) remove duplicate playlists, 3) organize playlists alphabetically 4) refusing to create a duplicate playlist if the same playlist already exists.

When I tap the 3 dots for the playlist I have the option of deleting it, see screenshot.
I think if it is a Qobuz or Tidal playlist you’ll need to go into Qobuz or Tidal to delete but not certain.

Sebrof,

I think you’re right. You must have to go to tidal or Qobuz. Here’s Tidal screenshot. There is no option to delete:

I have tried Tidal. There is an option to delete there.

Hey @StandardModel let me give you a little piece of advice—don’t use the Desktop app. It’s still very raw and works terribly. Many features don’t function properly.

Instead, download the iPad app on your MacBook—it runs perfectly, and everything works as it should. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and so far, I’m happy with it.

Version 5.7.4 is just plain frustrating!

Totally agree, using the iPads version works very well in comparison to the p.c version
