It seems I cannot turn off the vu meters anymore after an update.
When I turn them of in the app they automatically turn on again when the next song comes on.

It won’t help you if I tell you that everything is OK with the VU meters on my RS520.
I can switch them on and off using the app remote control or directly on the device.
I can’t say anything about paid streaming with VU meters, I haven’t subscribed to anything.

I have the same problem with my RS130.
I tried to turn off the VU Meter Mode, first ons screen, then via Rose connect premium app. Both didn´t work. With each and every new title on spotify connect, the VU Meter appears.
I don´t want to see the VU Meter all the time, but the song title.
Have you tried changing the style of the Vu meters and then turning them off??? Does the problem still exist???

Yes, I have tried that already. But unfortunately that didnt do the trick.
I tried this many times: Changed the VU meter style, turned off afterwards. However, when the next title starts, the display switches to VU meters after 0.5 seconds.

No, unfortunately it is still the same. After todays update the vu meters still come on automatically.

I have the version 5.7.05.6 version of the Rose Connect Premium Android app. This was released on November 13, 2024.
I am not able to switch off the VU Meters from the display using this app. Even if I select “Turn Off VU Mode” from the little Remote icon options, it does not save. When I open VU Mode, it still shows the “Rose Style”. When the tracks change, the RS250 again displays the VU Meters.
Same behavior on the iPad Rose Connect Premium version 5.7.11 released on November 18, 2024.
Request you to please fix this as soon as possible.
Issues related to the Vu meter have now been fixed.
The update is scheduled to be distributed as early as this week or as late as next week.

I got a mandatory update today 5.7.05 and it’s still not working.
Updated today, problem eventually solved!
Now… what is it really that hard?
