Hi, for space reasons I have to place my CD transport (RSA780) UNDER my RS150B which I will have to raise slightly to make it fit. My question is simple… can I leave the side selection lever ALWAYS in READ/WRITE mode both to rip CDs and also to listen to them without having to change the selection every time? Are there very important differences that differentiate them from each other? Thanks for the reply.
We currently do not support the feature you mentioned.
You need to set the path every time you rip a CD.
Maybe I didn’t explain myself well, my question asks what are the substantial differences between the two modes (read only or read/write) in order to understand if I can always leave the lever in read/write mode even when I simply want to listen to a CD

Are you asking why there is a CD play app and a CD ripping app on the Rose device?

For RSA780,
Read mode → Isolation ON
Write mode → Isolation OFF
When connecting RSA780 to your Rose device, you can use it in Read mode.
