Clock setting between 130 and DAC

Hello, I have a RS130 that I will be connecting to a Denafrips Terminator plus DAC.
I want to use the i2s connection between the two. I want to use the Terminators OCXO clock. Is there a way to make sure that the clock sync is not coming from the 130?

On the back of your device it says: ext. clock input. I think you’re good connecting the dac and streamer with a short (1m) BNC cable.
Just try and let your ears be the judge.

You can also check the setting in RS130 to make sure the ext clock is used instead of internal…

I’m not trying to use the clock input, the two devices use different clock frequencies.
I want to connect the two via HDMI i2s and have the clock sync handled by the Denafrips.

You cannot. The various clock signals from I2S is needed for synching and that has to come from RS130.
