Clunking noise in RS130 when flipping over

Hello, I went to install an SSD in the bottom of my RS130 and while I was turning it over I noticed a clunking sound as if something is loose in it. Has anyone else experienced this, and if it is normal, are you able to explain what it is? I made a post in a HiFi Rose group on Facebook and a couple of people mentioned noticing a similar sound, but no one knows what it is. Seems odd for such an expensive device to have components moving around in it, but perhaps there is an obvious normal reason for it? I do have a video of the sound, but it doesn’t appear that file type is supported here. Thanks.

Yeah, same as by mine RS130.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

First of all, it is normal for the RS130 to not make any sound when turned upside down and shaken.
Leads, screws, and connectors may be missing from the RS130 during transport by courier.
Please contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the RS130 and ask them to remove or fix any foreign substances floating around inside the RS130.

Good morning from Hamburg / Germany, due to this topic my RS130 was sent to AudioNext to fix that toroidal transformer which was loose and toggled a bit around. My dealer said, that around that unit was enough safety damping material, so no damages or loss of quality occured.
Made all by warranty, so no costs and they made the job very fast within 6 days plus shipping from Lübeck and back.
So now i’m very happy for the result and thanks a lot for the topic from Jaceleiva in Facebook group and of course here in this forum.
To all RS130 users with some clunking noise inside due to this matter ask your dealer to fix that !

Thanks for the update! I’m happy to hear it was a quick turnaround. I’m staring at mine thinking about how much I don’t want to be without music for something that isn’t really causing an issue other than knowing it there. Haha. I have another piece of audio gear (not HiFi Rose) that has been with the distributor going on 4 months for warranty work.
