Connect App Recommended Songs in Auto-Play

Greetings!

After the latest App update (version 5.7.34) on my RS250 (version 5.07.07), I noticed an odd thing.

I have the app set-up to Auto-Play after an album has played in full:

Recommended Playlist: ON > Auto-Play.

In the past, this worked great. The app would automatically play relevant songs after an album had been played in full, usually from the same artist or from within the same overall genre and style. I could listen for hours without worrying about a drastic change in music genre.

But since the latest update, and after re-scanning my entire 2TB+ library, the auto-play function is all over the place. It now plays random styles. For example, it can go from classical music to death metal to soundtracks. It’s not even close.

Is there any way to fix this?

This is one of the issues I’d like to get solved too! @ROSELOA

Glad I am not alone! The new update really messed up the app. None of the albums are arranged in any logical order, the recommendations are all over the place, navigation is sluggish, etc.

Your current symptom is that the Recommended Queue feature is turned on, but unrelated music like death metal is played in the classical music?

I will check with the software team about this.
For your information, we have not modified the Recommended Queue feature in this update.

Correct. That is what I experienced after installing the update. Is there anything I can do to revert this feature to they way it used to be?
