Connecting external DAC to Rose RS 150B

Hi there,

Yesterday I got my RS 150B. It is an amazing product. I‘d like to try using the RS 150B only as a streamer and use my outstanding T&A DAC 200 as external DAC. So I connected the RS150B to my T&A by USB to one of the USB 3.0 ports. The RS 150B recognized the T&A when I activated the USB port but no data where send to the T&A.

Any suggestions

Please check a few things.

  1. When you connect an external DAC to any USB port on the RS150b, is it not recognized?
  2. Even if you select USB Out in the input/output settings on RS150b, the external DAC is not recognized.
  3. Is the external hard drive USB not recognized when connected to the USB port of your RS150b rear?
  4. Does the same symptom appear even if you factory reset your RS150b?
    RS150b–>Settings–>system settings–>Factory reset
