When connecting RS250 to Hegel H390 what fixed output should I use
Hello @DAVEH53
RS250 (Sound Source) + RS250 DAC + Hegel H390 (Integrated amp) + Speaker
Connect the ANALOG OUT port on the rear of the RS250 and the ANALOG IN port on the rear of the Hegel H390 with an RCA cable.
RS250 (Sound Source) + Hegel H390 DAC + Hegel H390 (Integrated amp) + Speaker
Connect the OPTICAL OUT / COAXIAL OUT port on the rear of the RS250 and the OPTICAL 1,2,3 / COAXIAL port on the rear of the Hegel H390.
Thank you
Good afternoon! I also have a connection, I have a hegel h190 amplifier, and rs150b. in your opinion, which connection would be better rca or optics, coaxial? based on sound quality.
thanks all set up sounding fantastic
Hi Denis,
I would use the RCA as the DAC in the RS150B is better than the Hegel H190. I have the RS250 the DAC is not as good as the RS150B and Hegel H390 that has a better DAC than the Hegel190 so I am pretty confident RCA will be a better sound than Coaxial or Optical.
Dave
Good! Thank you for your prompt response!!!
