The same issue as always. Connection between ipad and RS150B lost after starting a video and closing ipad screen. As always can not reconnect the ipad to the rose. Fritzbox tells me, android devise is connected to lan/wlan an internet. But searching the device from the ipad with rose app failed complete. So again i want to ask if you take back your fuking devise? Cause i do not need a streamer that does not work. Connection with amazon music is the same , not able to find the rose devise at all.
@Rosehan Do not tell me the same things again. They do not work.
So, made a complete reset of the device. Really nice is that now I can not login to Rose, using my login data from here. Please use rose connect to find your e-mail and your password…… really???
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Please help us by checking the following points:
- When your iPad is connected to the RS150B, does the connection always get lost when you turn off the iPad screen?
- Do you experience the same issue when connecting the RS150B with another mobile device instead of the iPad?
- Does the same issue occur even after deleting and reinstalling the RoseConnect app on your iPad?
- The RS150B does not support Amazon Music. If you wish to use Amazon Music, it is only possible via AirPlay or Bluetooth. Could you please clarify what kind of issue you are experiencing in this case?
- Please let us know the email address you are using to log in to your ROSE account. I will send a temporary password to your email address.
For refund or exchange inquiries, please contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the RS150B.
Hello RoseHan,
the situation is stable at the moment, this means, I could get a temporary password the day after and then can use the RS150B normal.
The connection to the IPad and IPhone is still the same issue. If I use my normal WLan in the House, I´m not shure to get a connection to the Rose device, or If I get a connection it may dissapear in the next few minutes. Sometimes it is stable for some hours sometimes only for a few minutes.
Maybe this has to do with the fritzbox and the “Art” of WLan. The fritzbox generates a mesh between all repeater and it does not matter what frequency the device is using. All devices are connected to the mesh and when you move around the house the device is always connected to the frequency (2,8/5) and the repeater with the best performace. As the user, I do not know what the actual frequenzy is.
What always works is to use the WLan / Ethernet of the Rose device is generating. When I connect the Ipad or Iphone direct to this “WLan” the connection to the Rose is stable.
But this is not what I want !!!
Best regards, Björn
Thank you for your detailed explanation. We’re glad to hear that the RS150B itself is currently working normally.
Based on your description, the unstable connection appears to be related to the Fritz!Box mesh Wi-Fi environment. In mesh networks, devices automatically switch between access points and frequencies (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), which can cause temporary disconnections with control apps.
This is also why the connection is stable when your iPad or iPhone is connected directly to the Wi-Fi generated by the ROSE device, confirming that the RS150B hardware is not faulty.
To improve stability, we recommend:
- Connecting the RS150B via wired Ethernet, if possible
- Disabling mesh or band steering temporarily for testing
- Keeping the iPad or iPhone and RS150B on the same Wi-Fi band during use
We understand that using the ROSE device’s own Wi-Fi is not your preferred setup, and we will share your feedback internally for further improvement.
