I have just purchased an RS130, and am attempting to complete as much of the setup as I can before I put it into my system.
Is it possible to copy my music files to an SSD (4Tb Samsung 870EVO) directly from my PC, and then install the SSD in my new RS130 afterwards?
How do I need to format the SSD so I can do this? GPT or MBR? exFat, NTFS, or FAT32?

If the file system of your SSD is NTFS/exFAT/FAT32, you can use the SSD right away without format.
Please make sure that your SSD is 2.5 inches / 7mm / SATA type / under 4TB.
Format on PC with NTFS
Copy the Music to the SSD
Insert the SSD into the ROSE
Start DB scan… while scanning you can already listen to the discovered music
