Dangerous Bug - Volume 100%

Dear support,
3 days ago i’ ve played some songs with ipad Rose one connect app, during the play from another room i’ ve opened the app from my Samsung S25 Edge (as i do regularly) to lower the volume and the Rs520 switched the volume at 100% locked!!! My speakers are only 200w max and the only solution was to run finically to the amp and mute it. But the woofers smelled of burning.
Furthermore, since the last Samsung update with the security patches of March 2026, the app (latest version) stops working after a few dozen minutes from the first use (it no longer finds the RS520) and the only solution is reboot the phone. With the ipad works regularly.

This is a real, DANGEROUS problem that can cause, in my case, more than 8k euros of damage speakers + sub.

Before I share this issue with our software team, could you please help confirm a few details?

  1. When you try to lower the volume using the RoseOne app, does the volume suddenly jump to 100%?
  2. Could you please provide more details on when the volume gets locked at 100% in the RoseOne app? Under what circumstances does this occur?
  3. After uninstalling and reinstalling the RoseOne app, does the same issue still occur?

1: yes
2:when i opened with Galaxy S25 Edge(updated with March patches).
3:I’ ve uninstalled and cleared the cache of the app because of the problem with the disconnections with the Rose.

After that problem i stopped to use the RS520 - You should understand that burn speakers it’ s not a good sensation…

You need to do a cost benefit analysis and make a decision, assuming of course you have ruled out user error. I know what my decision would be.

They will investigate it, and once the root cause is identified, a fix will be implemented and included in a future update.
